Blackpool FC attend showcase game
7 Elite Academy was delighted to welcome players, coaches and staff from League One club Blackpool for a showcase game at Litherland Sports Park.
The event was staged to create a spotlight for our Under-14s players, as they look to secure academy contracts over the next few seasons.
7 Elite Academy is building new partnerships with clubs across the North-West, with Blackpool the first to hold a showcase game.
The partnership has already seen Josh Miles sign a three-year professional contract with Blackpool, with many others signing for the club’s academy.
Scouts and recruiters from other clubs in the region were present, with many using the opportunity to offer players trials.
As well as professional football, 7 Elite Academy has partnerships with colleges in the United States, with players regularly obtaining scholarships to study and play.
