October Tournament now open for registration
7 Elite Academy will launch its Half Term Youth Football Tournament next month, taking place at Litherland Sports Park on October 27th-29th.
The tournament will run for teams in the Under-6 to Under-11 age groups, with teams from across the country due to take part.
All finalists will receive medals, with trophies for winners. There will also be music, food, stalls and all-day entertainment for all the family.
Next month’s event is the latest to be held at Litherland Sports Park, following a series of successful Easter and Summer tournaments.
Oliver Byrne, 7 Elite Academy UK Head of Junior Coaching said: “We can’t wait to welcome teams back to Litherland Sports Park for our next youth tournament.
“Our events earlier in the year brought teams to Liverpool from across the country and we’ve already had interest in more making the trip at half term.
“The games are competitive and mean teams can play against clubs they wouldn’t otherwise see, helping them to learn something new.
“We will be bringing a family fun element to all three days, with food stalls, sports stalls, music and entertainment. It’s going to be a great week!”
The tournament begins on October 26th with games for Under-6s and Under-7s, before Under-8s and Under-9s games on October 28th. Under-11s play on October 29th.
Morning sessions start at 9.30am, while afternoon games get under way at 1.30pm.
Oliver added: “We sold out very quickly for some age groups in the summer, so I would advise teams get their names down as soon as possible.
“We’ve got scouts from clubs across the North-West coming and it’s an excellent way for future talent to be spotted.
“Having the support of the local business community is crucial in making this tournament a success, so I am grateful to have so many companies come forward.
“This is a grassroots event for teams from across the country, so we can bring the whole youth football community together.”
