We are delighted to announce that Billy Vaughan has been recruited as Technical Co-Ordinator for 7 Elite Academy in the United Kingdom.

Billy has been coaching with the academy for a number of years as a volunteer, and will now work on a full-time basis from our Liverpool office.

He has spent over 20 years coaching in the UK, from grassroots football through to semi-professional and academy level.

Billy holds a UEFA C coaching badge and is also a fully-qualified specialist assistant referee in the National League.

“I am really honoured to be a part of the 7 Elite Academy family,” he said.

“I can’t thank everyone enough for making me feel so welcome. My aim is to support the development of the academy and most importantly the development of the players.”

Anthony Godfrey, 7 Elite Academy Director, added: “I have known Billy for a number of years and he has an excellent reputation throughout grassroots football in the UK.

“He is the Head Coach of our Under-12s JPL team, and his attitude and passion for what we do here at 7 Elite Academy is fantastic.

“Billy has developed along with his players over the last twelve months as part of 7 Elite Academy.

“We are delighted to bring him on board full time after seeing his work as a volunteer coach and doing some really good work for us.”
