7 Elite Academy has a rich history of seeing alumni travel the world and break new ground in their careers, missions and even humanitarian work.
Since our formation, we have fostered close working links with colleges, soccer clubs and community groups to ensure every player has a varied set of options to choose from.
Our exchange program creates regular opportunities for young people to play, live and study in the United Kingdom and Europe, with many now enjoying full careers in soccer and college study.
Luke Scholes, for example, attended our academy throughout his youth soccer career, before moving on to college, then study at the famous Steven Gerrard Academy in Liverpool, UK. He is now a full-time coach and player for Marine AFC in the English National League.
Others have moved on to college scholarships in the USA, or even college opportunities in the UK. Bodan Drca, now a full-time goalkeeping coach in Utah, also attended SGA in Liverpool after spending his youth career with us.
Sydney Peck, meanwhile, also trained with 7 Elite Academy before moving on to Easter Oregon University where she captained her team while pursuing a degree in Rangeland Sciences and a minor in Fisheries and Wildlife.
We are proud that the young people we work with are willing to use their experience learned at 7 Elite Academy to benefit their careers and just as importantly, their communities.
7 Elite Academy is delighted to partner with Marine AFC. As part of this exciting collaboration, we oversee the development of Marine’s Under-18s men’s and women’s teams, as well as the Under-23s men’s squad.
Marine AFC, based in Crosby, Merseyside, plays in the English National League and was founded in 1894. With a proud tradition in English football and a passionate community following, Marine is known for its commitment to grassroots development, values that align closely with our own.
