Billy has coached at semi professional level with Formby FC and is a FA level 2 coach and currently looking to undertake his UEFA B license. As well as his coaching experience and qualifications Billy has an array of qualifications within football including being a Level 4 specialist assistant referee working towards Conference National level and has worked as a talent ID scout for Liverpool FC  as well as being Senior North West scout for Conference National team AFC Flyde.

Qualifications include: FA Level 2, Working towards UEFA B, Level 4 specialist assistant referee, Emergency First Aid and FA Safeguarding
