BOOK NOW: [email protected] or call Head of UK Coaching Alan Moogan on 07494 781443.

The competition is part of 7 Elite Academy’s regular series of football events that also includes an annual international tournament in the United States.

7 Elite Academy runs teams and educational programmes for thousands of youth football players in the UK, USA and Africa.

Boys and girls teams in the Under-7 and Under-11 age groups will play in next month’s tournament in Liverpool, which will start at 10am on both days.

Alan Moogan, Head of UK Coaching at 7 Elite Academy, said: “It is very exciting to be launching our first tournament in the United Kingdom.

“We want youngsters from all over the North-West to take part and enjoy a day of competitive football at Litherland Sports Park.

“There will be penalty shoot-outs at the end of every game for an extra point, with different team sizes for each age group.

“Matches will be grouped into Champions League and Europa League formats, with every winning team receiving medals and a trophy.”

Under-7s (£60 per team) will play 5V5 group games and finals on June 11th, while Under-11s (£70 per team) will play 7V7 matches the next day.

Group games will be 12 minutes (Under-7) and 15 minutes (Under-11), and there will be four teams per group.

Moogan added: “We have had great success with the 7 Elite Academy International Tournament in the USA over the last five years and we want to do the same in the UK.

“We’ve learned plenty of lessons from running successful tournaments in our time from hosting a number of big events in the United States.

“I have already had plenty of interest from teams keen to take part and with places limited, I urge those interested to get in touch.”
